Hire an Artist

kendall webBorn in a haunted city in Illinois alongside the mightiest river in America, artist Kendall R. Hart was raised by 1980s pop culture and two hard-working caring human parents. It was his frustrating inability to get Japanese toys of his beloved Godzilla that required the young sculptor to begin turning his dinosaur toys into the movie monsters he wanted. Multiple Brontosaurus (I know it was the 80s) and Pteradon toys were Frankensteined into King Gidorah, a Stegosaurus and Tyrannosaurus toys became Godzilla . . . and so a chubby kid played god through art. Over the years Mr. Hart would hone his artistic skills in illustration, graphic design and sculpture while claiming his BFA and warning others of the perils of seeking a professional education in the visual or performing arts. (Own rental properties instead.) Mr. Hart would discover his exact name was usurped by a character from daytime television and so summoned his middle initial into his professional name, thus becoming Kendall R. Hart. His art and design can be found in graphic novels, non-graphic novels that depict graphic things, websites, toy and horror film concept art, America’s major haunt attractions and natural history museums in the Midwest. Currently a freelance graphic designer and life-size sculptor of monsters for the haunt and entertainment industries. He now lives in haunted city in Missouri. His online lair is grimstonestudios.com

carrion house

Luke Spooner a.k.a. ‘Carrion House’ and ‘Hoodwink House,’ currently lives and works in the South of England. Having graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a first class degree he is now a full time illustrator and writer for just about any project that peaks his interest. Despite regular forays into children’s books and fairy tales, for which he has won awards for literary and artistic merit, his true love is anything macabre, melancholy or dark in nature and essence. He believes that the job of putting someone else’s words into a visual form, to accompany and support their text, is a massive responsibility as well as being something he truly treasures.
